Rio Tinto Stadium is a new 20,000 seat soccer stadium which is home to Real Salt Lake of Major League Soccer. The civil design involved nearly 2,000 feet of sanitary sewer main, including a bored canal crossing with the associated permits. Approximately 5,000 feet of culinary and secondary re-use water mains were installed as part of the project. Additionally, more than 40,000 cubic feet of underground stormwater storage, nearly 3,000 feet of stormdrain and an overflow diversion structure were also designed.
